Crafted with grapes from the legendary Heart of the Hill Vineyard (Seattle Magazine’s 2019 Vineyard of the Year), this wine opens with captivating aromas of crème de cassis, violets, dusty minerality, spice, and mocha. As it opens in your glass, notes of tobacco gently emerge, adding even more complexity.
On the palate, Red Mountain’s signature strength shines through — chewy tannins, dense fruit, and a structure built for age and meat. Pair it with grilled steak, slow-braised meats, or a quiet evening with serious conversation.
In 2021, we sourced fruit from Kiona Winery’s Heart of the Hill Vineyard, owned by Vicky and Scott Williams — a family with deep Red Mountain roots. This wine is a tribute to their commitment to excellence and to the raw, expressive beauty of the Red Mountain AVA.
